New Music Reading course for violin

"I Can Read Music" book 1

I have just published a new music reading course, to go with Suzuki Violin book 2 (though older children could start it in Suzuki book 1). The new course uses Joanne Martin’s book “I Can Read Music” (book 1). Pitch reading and rhythm reading are kept separate in this book. The pitch reading pages use only one note and the rhythm reading pages use only one rhythm.

This new course follows on from my "Introduction to Music reading for children" course. The introductory course introduces many important concepts, which are built on during "I Can Read Music".
