Introduction to Music Reading

(for children learning Piano)

This course gives an introduction to reading rhythms and identifying notes in the treble and bass clefs. It is aimed at children in Suzuki book 1. Rhythms and note names are taught using cards and fun characters.

The first part of the course (the Rhythm Train books) are suitable for children from about age 4 years up. The rest of the course is suitable for children once they are comfortable identifying and ordering the first 7 letters of the alphabet (A-G).
